Tarah Cavett, NCC, LPCC-S

Founder and Clinical Counselor

I am dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for your personal growth, supporting you on your journey toward emotional and behavioral wellness. Respect, compassion, and acceptance form the foundation of the care you will receive as we work together.

With over 17 years of experience and training in evidence-based practices, I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). These methods are effective for a wide range of challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, OCD, panic, depression, sexual compulsions, and trauma. I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative and trained counselor who tailors every approach to meet your unique needs and goals.

I look forward to assisting you in reaching your goals for change.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and finding the right fit is important. I believe in creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. My approach is person-centered, meaning I meet you where you are, and walk alongside you through your challenges, growth, and healing. Whether you're navigating a time of crisis or working through long-standing patterns, I’m here to support you at your own pace.

I’ve been in the behavioral health field for over 13 years, with experience working in both crisis services and substance use treatment. I’ve worked with individuals and families who have been deeply impacted by addiction, trauma, and significant life transitions. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the strength it takes to seek help—and the resilience that can come from it.

My goal is to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels safe and collaborative, helping you explore, heal, and move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.
